Birdbath Francis - A Franciscan Animal Theology?

Postby j.wolyniak » Fri Sep 18, 2009 6:09 am

Anyone have any interest in animal ethics?

My name is Joseph and I am an incoming DPhil student at Oxford with interest broadly in secularization and the displacement of theology from science and politics.

I have strong interest in animal welfare issues and have given thought to working with some similarly concerned individuals on developing a Franciscan response to animal abuse in our world.

If you have any thoughts to share, please post!

Thanks.

There is a publication called The Ark that addresses animal welfare issues in the UK. Looking at the contributors might give some hints.
